A-10 and United Airlines Rock 'n' Roll DC Marathon Series Partner for A-10 Men's Basketball Championship

The student-athletes competing in the 2018 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship in Washington, DC., won’t be the only ones lacing up their shoes in the nation’s capital. On Saturday, March 10, more than 20,000 runners are expected to run across the city as participants in the United Airlines Rock 'n' Roll Washington, DC Marathon and 1/2 Marathon.


All 14 league members will compete in the A-10 Men’s Basketball Championship at the Capital One Arena, beginning on Wednesday, March 7, and continue play through Sunday, March 11 with the championship contest at 1 p.m. The United Airlines Rock 'n Roll Washington, DC is offering all A-10 fans discounted registration for any of Saturday’s races by clicking on the link below and using their designated school code. All race participants are encouraged to wear their schools colors or apparel to show their support for their A-10 member.

The marathon kicks off the day’s race events at 7 a.m., followed by the 5k at 8 a.m. and the half-marathon aat 8:30 a.m. One of the most popular race series the country, runners in the Rock 'n' Roll races can enjoy a post-race headliner concert and festival after being cheered on by hundreds of fans along the DC course. 


Additionally, the A-10 is providing all race participants a buy-one-get-one free  “A-10 Zonie’s" coupon, good for any of the championship sessions, which provides two tickets for only $20.
