NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Saint Louis junior forward Robbie Kristo and VCU senior midfielder Romena Bowie have both been named Preseason All-Americans by College Soccer News. Kristo was a second-team choice, while Bowie was named to the third-team. Both were named First-Team All-Atlantic 10 in 2012.
Kristo, a Hermann Trophy semifinalist and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) third-team All-American last year, scored 11 goals and added five assists to lead the Billikens with 27 points a season ago. Bowie has been a staple in the Rams midfield over the past three seasons and has appeared in 57 matches, making 52 starts. He has assisted on four goals during his career, including two last season.
In 2012, the Saint Mary, Jamaica native was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 as well as garnering First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors announced by the NSCAA.
