INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The La Salle Explorers earned a third straight trip to the NCAA Championship and will face Georgetown at the Hoya's Shaw Field on Saturday, November 16 in the first round, gametime TBA.

The Explorers punched their ticket after defeating Dayton Sunday at the A-10 Championship on penalty kicks. After 110 minutes of scoreless play, La Salle advanced on penalty kicks, 5-4. Junior reserve goalkeeper, Katie Getzinger, made the final save to send the Explorers back to the NCAA Championship for the third straight year.

Georgetown set a school record with 15 wins in the regular season, posted nine shutouts and had a 7-1-1 record in the Big East. The Hoyas are coming off a semifinals loss to Depaul in the Big East Championship.
