KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer student-athletes earned spots on NSCAA Scholar All-American Teams, the organization announced Wednesday. A-10 Midfielder of the Year, Dayton's Juliana Libertin, was named to the second-team, while La Salle standouts Kelsey Haycook and Renee Washington were named to the third-team.

Libertin, a senior midfielder from Uniontown, Ohio, was named a Second Team NSCAA Scholar All-American, following her First Team NSCAA All-Region honor in 2013. She is a two-time Scholar All-American, also earning second team honors as a junior. Libertin was named the 2013 Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year after notching seven goals and 16 assists. This season she was the NCAA's active career leader in assists and finished with 43. She was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 and also selected to the A-10 All-Championship Team. She is a three-time NSCAA All-Region selection.

Haycook continues to pile up academic recognition following a 2013 season when she led the A-10 in points (41). She was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America team and Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team. The Point Pleasant, N.J. native has assaulted the La Salle record book with her excellent play, compiling 99 career points through her junior season. An NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection, Haycook stands only 14 points behind Amy Schneider's (1999-02) program-high mark of 113.

Washington concluded her standout career as an Explorer in style, being named Atlantic 10 Tournament MVP in leading the Blue and Gold to their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The Ewing, N.J. native tallied 24 points on the year, second-most on the Explorers and was named NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region. For her career, she finished with 101 points (40G, 21A), second-most in program history.Washington twice earned A-10 Academic All-Conference status and has now been selected to the NSCAA Scholar All-America team for the third consecutive year. She carries a 3.61 GPA as a communication major.

To be named to a Scholar All-America Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career; start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team; and be nominated by an institution that is a current NSCAA College Services member.
