Dickson's tally would be all the Rams needed as Nils Lelfhlem turned away all six shots on goal he faced, earning his eighth shutout of the year.

George Washington fired 12 shots, 7 on goal, at Leifhelm, but couldn't find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Thor arne Hofs of George Washington made six saves on the seven shots that he faced. The Colonials made one last gasp effort with 11 seconds remaining, but Dylan Lightbourn's header couldn't find the back of the net.
