NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Massachusetts defeated Richmond, 5-0, to claim their 13th Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship title, outshooting the Spiders 13-8.

The Minutewomen's Thando Zono launched the first goal of the match 9:58 into the first half. Zono later scored the second goal off of a penalty shot, assisted by Callie Sweigart and Kate Heineman.
