LORETTO, Pa. - Wumi Agunbiade recorded her second straight double-double with 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds and Raegan Moore scored a team-best 20 points in the Duquesne women's basketball's 86-66 victory at Saint Francis on Sunday afternoon.

Belma Nurkic came off the bench to tie her season-high with 15 points and April Robinson added 15 and Orsi Szecsi 14 as the Dukes improve to 7-3 overall.

Stasia King scored a season-high seven points including a career-high five free throws.

Alli Williams scored a game-high 24 for the Red Flash who fall to 2-5 on the season.

After trailing 5-0 90 seconds into 1st half, the Dukes went on an 11-0 run over the next three minutes. As the half went back-and-forth, the Red Flash would answer with a 16-5 run to take their largest lead of the game - five points at 21-16 with 8:47 to play. The Dukes would hold SFU scoreless over the next four minutes as a Robinson layup regained the Duquesne lead at 22-21 at the 7:19 mark. They would hold the lead for the next three minutes and 54 seconds until Williams scored five straight points to put the Flash up 28-26 with 3:35 remaining in the half. A Szecsi layup followed by a pair of Moore free throws put the Dukes up 30-28 with 2:53 to play. SFU's Hope Phillips' layup closed out the scoring in the half with Duquesne leading 33-32.

With the Dukes leading 40-38 at the 16:52 mark of the 2nd half, Robinson's foul shot started a 26-2 run over the next 10 minutes in which six different players put points on the board to make the score 66-40. During the run, Robinson scored seven points, Szecsi added six and Nurkic scored five. The Duquesne lead would get as high as 26 points after a pair of Robinson foul shots made the score 73-47 with 5:06 remaining in the game.

"I was very happy with the way we played in the 2nd half," said head coach Dan Burt.

The Dukes outscored the Red Flash 53-34.

"April [Robinson] was the catalyst today. In addition to scoring in double-figures, she handled the ball extremely well. The same goes for Raegan [Moore]. She scored and protected the ball. "

The two guards combined for 35 points and only two turnovers in 65 minutes on the court.

This is the first of the "Big Four" rivalry games for the Dukes. Up next is Robert Morris 10 days from today on Dec. 18th at the Palumbo Center. Following the game against the Colonials, the Dukes will host West Virginia on Dec. 21st. The non-conference schedule ends after Christmas at the Petersen Events Center when Duquesne and Pitt face off in The City Game on Dec. 29th.
