NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Four Atlantic 10 Field Hockey standouts have been named All-Americans by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

Richmond goalkeeper Anna Zarkoski was named a First-Team All-American, while her teammate Rebecca Barry was a Third-Team Choice.  A-10 Defensive Player of the Year Lauren Allymohamed from Massachusetts was named Second-Team All-American along with her teammate Alexa Sikalis.

Zarkoski rewrote the Richmond record book as she finished a stellar career between the pipes. The Norristown, Pa., native finished her career tied for first in goals against average (1.16) and third in save percentage (.762) all-time at Richmond. This season she recorded 84 saves, seven shutouts and a .824 save percentage ranking first in the nation. Prior to her First Team honor, Zarkoski, was placed on the All-American Third Team in 2011.

This is the second-straight All-American honor for Barry as she was placed on the All-American Second Team as a sophomore. Barry led the Spiders with 15 goals and seven assists which was good for 37 points this season. The Limerick, Ireland, native finished the season ranked tied for 18th in the nation in goals per game.

Allymohamed provided eight goals for 16 points as a junior and served as the center defender on UMass' backline. The Seaford, England, native helped the Minutewomen limit opponents to 1.54 goals per game on only 9.6 shots in each contest as UMass won the Atlantic 10 Championship and reached the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals.

Sikalis finished second in NCAA Division I with 20 assists for an average of 0.83 per game. The Acton-Boxborough Regional High School graduate totaled a single-season personal-best 24 points in as many games as a senior, notching at least one in 15 of her appearances.

The duo led UMass to its second consecutive A-10 Championship and an overtime victory over Virginia in the First-Round of the NCAA Tournament.
