>In Fordham’s win over VCU on Wednesday, Erin Rooney accomplished something that had not been done by a Ram in nearly 22 years.  The Christchurch, New Zealand, native tallied 11 points, 11 assists, and ten rebounds, becoming the first Ram since Kelly Roche on February 1st, 1992, to record a triple-double.

>George Washington outscored Atlantic 10 rival Saint Louis by 24 points in the second half as the Colonials won their eighth straight game, 84-61, on Wednesday evening at the Charles E. Smith Center. GW improves to 12-4 overall, its best start since 2007-08, and moves to 3-0 in A-10 play for the first time since 2006-07. The Colonials’ eight-game win streak is their longest since taking nine straight from Dec. 1, 2007-Jan. 16, 2008.

>Freshman Olivia Healy led the Richmond women’s basketball team over A-10 newcomer George Mason, 67-64, Wednesday afternoon in front of a crowd of 1,876 for Dream Big Day at the Robins Center. The win lifted the Spiders to 8-10 overall and 2-3 in the conference, while the Patriots lost their fifth-straight to fall 6-12 on the season and 0-5 in the A-10. Healy led three other Spiders in double-figures with 20 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for her fourth double-double of the season and her second-straight game with seven assists.

>Dayton is on a seven-game winning streak, including five-consecutive wins to close out the non-conference portion of its season, a 91-64 win over A-10 newcomer George Mason in the UD's conference opener, and a 73-58 win over St. Bonaventure in the Flyers' A-10 home opener.

>The A-10 has seven teams ranked in the top-100 of the RPI report.  Saint Joseph’s is currently 14, Dayton is 33,  while Fordham is 74 . The A-10 as a whole is ranked ninth among conferences.
