SAINT LOUIS 89, GEORGE MASON 85 (OT)
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - Jordair Jett scored 24 of his 25 points after halftime and Rob Loe hit two key 3-pointers in overtime as No. 10 St. Louis escaped with its 18th straight win, 89-85 over George Mason on Wednesday night.

The Billikens (24-2, 11-0 Atlantic-10), playing as a Top 10 team for the first time since Dec. 29, 1964, extended their school-record winning streak and remained with No. 1 Syracuse and No. 3 Wichita State as the only teams in the country without a loss on the road.

Sherrod Wright had a career-high 34 points for the Patriots (9-17, 2-10), which lost for the 11th time in 13 games and are still without a home win in conference play.

Loe hit consecutive 3-pointers to give the Billikens a 79-77 lead with 3:10 remaining in overtime, and Saint Louis would not relinquish the lead from that point.

The teams played overtime in their earlier meeting, an 87-81 Saint Louis win on Feb. 1.

ST. BONAVENTURE 71, DUQUESNE 67
SAINT BONAVENTURE, N.Y. (AP) - Matthew Wright scored 22 points, including the clinching free throws with 12 seconds left, as St. Bonaventure edged Duquesne 71-67 Wednesday.

Youssou Ndoye's layup on a Wright feed with 33 seconds left broke a tie at 67 and then Derrick Colter, who hit buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give Duquesne a win in the first matchup, missed two free throws, setting the stage for Wright's clutch free throws.

Jordan Gathers added 18 points and Dion Wright 16 for the Bonnies (16-10, 6-6 Atlantic 10).

Micah Mason had 14, Colter and Ovie Soko added 12 each for the Dukes (11-14, 3-9).

St. Bonaventure closed the half with a 12-2 run to take a 36-25 lead. Matthew Wright hit a 3 to open the second half but Duquesne, which won the first game 83-81, went on a 15-2 run to make it close. But this time the Dukes didn't make the clutch shots.

SAINT JOSEPH'S 57, RHODE ISLAND 54
KINGSTON, R.I. (AP) - Halil Kanacevic scored 12 points, none bigger than his layup with 34 seconds remaining in the game, as Saint Joseph's edged Rhode Island 57-54 on Thursday.

Ronald Roberts, Jr. led St. Joseph's (18-7, 8-3 Atlantic 10) with 18 points and nine boards and DeAndre Bembry added 12.

Rhode Island (11-16, 2-10) led 33-25 at the break and the Rams' lead reached as much as 10 points early in the second, but St. Joe's erased that with a 9-0 run midway through the frame, and Ronald Roberts' layup with 9:57 tied it at 40.

Papa Ndao's 3-pointer with 4:37 left - his only score of the game - gave St. Joe's a 5-point lead. URI's Gilvydas Biruta's layup with 2:21 left cut the deficit to one at 55-54, but Kanacevic's layup with 34 seconds left sealed the win.

E.C. Matthews led Rhode Island with 17 points and Biruta finished with 10.

DAYTON 65, LA SALLE 53
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Devin Oliver scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Dayton won its fifth straight, beating La Salle 65-53 on Wednesday night.

Jordan Sibert had 17 points for the Flyers (18-8, 6-5 Atlantic 10 Conference). Matt Kavanaugh added 16 and Kendall Pollard had seven.

Dayton hit 41.4 percent from the field, 84.7 percent from the line and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc.

La Salle went 17-7 to start but faded late in the first, allowing Dayton to finish the first half on a 20-4 run and lead 27-21 at the break.

The Explorers closed the gap to two points midway in the second half before Dayton pulled well ahead again on a 14-7 run - capped by a Sibert 3 and a Devon Scott dunk - to lead 54-45 with 6:17 left to play.

Jerrell Wright led the Explorers (12-13, 4-7) with 15 points and five rebounds.
