PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Duquesne University athletic director Greg Amodio announced today that Rob Gregoire has been named Director of Tennis. As part of the restructuring of both the men's and women's tennis programs, Gregoire will oversee both teams.
Gregoire will be naming one assistant coach for the men's team and one assistant coach for the women's team shortly.
"I am very excited to be over seeing both programs at the University," said Gregoire. "I look forward to bringing a lot of energy and hard work to both programs and I am very determined to elevate both programs to the next level and beyond. I have a great group of men and women and am very excited about the recruits coming in on both teams for next year."
Gregoire, who was named head men's tennis coach last October, led the Dukes to a 16-6 overall record and a perfect 6-0 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Duquesne reached the semifinals at the conference championship as a #3 seed.
