Newport News, Va. -- The Atlantic 10 Conference has been well represented on ESPN.com’s countdown of the Top-50 Men’s Basketball Coaches.

As of Wednesday, the A-10 has five of its floor generals ranked on the countdown which was voted on by a panel of nearly 100 ESPN writers, editors, broadcasters and  researchers to rate college basketball coaches on all aspects of running a program, on a scale of 1-10.  The scale was based on the here and now, not an overall career.

VCU’s Shaka Smart was ranked 13th in the poll, while Davidson’s Bob McKillop was tabbed 24th.  Dayton’s Archie Miller was ranked 26th, while Jim Crews of Saint Louis and Saint Joseph’s Phil Martelli were 29th and 35th, respectively.
