WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – It was moving day at the 2017 NCAA Men's Golf Regionals and the University of Richmond was up to the task but despite outstanding performances from its two freshmen, remain in the 10th position with one round to play.

Zack Justice provided the highlight reel on Tuesday after getting off a shaky start. The Orlando native rattled off back-to-back-to-back bogeys to start his day but answered with a pair of birdies before taking a double on his eighth hole of the day. He went on to play the last 10 holes at two-under and bogey free to close with a +1, 73. He now rests at +4 overall and ranks in a tie for 26th overall on the individual leaderboard, tops among all Spiders.

Andrew Sciarretta responded after a long day on Monday with a stellar +4, 76. He canned two birdies on the back to start his round, including an impressive three on the challenging par-4, 18th which catapulted him to seven-consecutive pars on the front. Mark Reilly (+6, 78), Matthew Lowe (+7, 79) and Keegan Hoff (+10, 82) followed the freshmen.

As a team the Spiders braved the much more windy Kampen Course on Tuesday to shoot a 306, giving them a 603 total for the event with one round to play. Richmond tee times will begin at 8:55 a.m. on the 10th tee on Wednesday morning and it will be paired with competitors from Campbell and Cleveland State.
