Atlantic 10 Soccer Programs Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

Kansas City, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches, formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America or NSCAA, has announced its Team Academic Award winners for the 2016-17 academic year.  Among those honored were eight Atlantic 10 women's soccer programs and six men's soccer programs. Four A-10 schools were honored for both women's and men's soccer.
A total of 813 collegiate soccer teams (282 men, 531 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 academic year.
Fordham had the top GPA among Atlantic 10 women's soccer teams, while Dayton's men's team was top among Atlantic 10 programs.
