OXFORD, Miss. – [FULL LIST] Saint Louis University Baseball starting pitcher Miller Hogan was named a Second-Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball News on Thursday, the second of the major honors for the right-handed pitcher.

Hogan, a junior from Overland Park, Kan., has become not only the ace of the Billiken staff, but was also named the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Year last week. The pitcher earned the honor as he was named to the second-team of Thursday’s All-American announcement by the publication.

The Friday night starter enters the weekend with a 10-3 record and a 2.19 ERA. Hogan is holding batters to a .196 average and has recorded just 12 walks in 102.2 innings in 2018. He is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation in strikeout-walk ratio (10.75).

Just over a week ago on Thursday, May 24, Hogan became the All-Time strikeouts leader at Saint Louis as he recorded his first strikeout (of nine) against Davidson. Hogan enters NCAA Regional play with 129 strikeouts on the year.

The Billikens will open play against the Ole Miss Rebels on Friday at 6:30 p.m. CDT in the 2018 NCAA Regional and will be broadcast live on the SEC Network. For fans traveling to Oxford, click HERE for information on tickets.
