A-10 SWIMMING & DIVING PROGRAMS NAMED CSCAA SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Eighteen swimming teams from eleven A-10 institutions were honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) amongst its Spring 2018 CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the Spring semester.

Seven Atlantic 10 men's programs (Davidson, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis) along with eleven women's programs (Davidson, Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis) were honored.

In total, 710 teams from 476 institutions across all divisions were honored on Tuesday. This year's total marked the second consecutive year that more than 700 teams received CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
