Saint Louis dominated on both sides of the ball in a convincing 3-0 victory at No. 23 Tulsa on Tuesday night.

It was a key road victory for the Billikens, who improve to 2-1-2 overall. Tulsa, ranked No. 23 in this week's College Soccer News national poll, dips to 3-2-1.

Devin Boyce, a St. Louis native (CBC) in his first season with the Billikens after transferring from New Mexico, scored twice. He opened the scoring in the 25th minute off assists by Andre Rivers-Hardware and Lennart Hein. He had a late insurance marker in the 81st minute off assists by Rivers-Hardware and Patrick Wilkinson. The goals were the first of the season for Boyce.

Also scoring his first goal of the season was freshman John Klein, who scored in the 65th minute off assists from Anthony Brown and Boyce. The goal made it 2-0 Billikens at the time.

The Billikens outshot Tulsa 11-8 as SLU has yet to be outshot in a game this season. The SLU defense did not yield a shot on goal.

Saint Louis is unbeaten in its last three games and is next in action on Sunday, Sept. 16, when it hosts Central Arkansas at Hermann Stadium. Game time is 5 p.m.
