The league announced the annual Preseason Poll and Preseason All-Conference team Monday ahead of the start of the season on Friday, August 30.

The Hawks were chosen first in the poll with 71 total points and eight first-place votes. SJU, which has won the A-10 regular season the last three years (8-0 record last year), claimed back-to-back championship titles in 2017 and 2018.  Senior goalkeeper Victoria Kammerinke, a two-time A-10 Defensive Player of the Year, senior midfielder Pepa Serrano and 2018 Rookie of the Year Tonya lead Saint Joseph’s.
