Atlantic 10 Names Five Student-Athletes to Menís Golf All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.— The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its 2016 Men’s Golf All-Academic team Tuesday, awarding five individuals. The team was selected by a vote of the league’s golf media relations directors.

Four of the honorees, David Sargent of Davidson, George Mason’s Eric Edwards, Billy Walthouse from Rhode Island and VCU’s Steffen Harm were also named All-Conference this season. Sargent is a mathematics major and Edwards is a finance major. La Salle’s Tonny Aizpun, a grad student in the Explorer’s MBA program, was also named to the All-Academic Team. He finished seventh at the A-10 Championship. Walthouse is a business major with a communications minor and Harm is a mechanical engineering major.

Harm helped lead the Rams to their third straight A-10 title and an appearance in the NCAA Regionals. Walthouse also participated in NCAA Regionals as an individual.
