NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Through two days of competition at the NCAA Track & Field Preliminaries, three A-10 students have qualified to advance to Eugene, Ore., for the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, June 11-14.

VCU’s Kiara Porter and Jaleesa Williams qualified for the NCAA Championships yesterday after finishing second in the women’s 400 meters and third in the women’s discus throw, respectively.

The East Preliminary in Jacksonville Fla., will resume at 12:00 PM local time on Saturday while the West Preliminary in Fayetteville, Ark., will resume at 10:00 AM local time.
