VCU's Kiara Porter Earns First Team All-American Honors at NCAA Track & Field Championships

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. –  VCU’s Kiara Porter finished 8th overall in the finals of the Women’s 400 meters on Friday with a time of 52.80 to earn First Team All-American honors. Porter is the first VCU sprinter to earn First Team All-American honors and the first athlete since 1999.

Fordham’s David Fajoyomi concluded his season finishing tied for 15th place in the Men’s High Jump with a height of 6-10 ¾’ (2.10 meters) and earning Second Team All-American honors. Fajoyomi, the first Fordham student-athlete to compete at the Outdoor Championships since 1996, finished tied with Arkansas’ Ken LeGassey and Texas A&M’s Devion Harris.
