NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Saint Louis’s Kingsley Bryce has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, while Massachusetts’ Cody Sitton was named Rookie of the Week.

Bryce had a hand in all three Billiken goals against previously unbeaten Dayton.  The Plano, Texas native recorded the opening goal, assisted on the eventual game winner, and scored an insurance goal against the Flyers. The junior forward’s five points in the match was a career high and it was the second two-goal game of his career and the first five-point game for SLU since 2009 (Mike Roach).

Sitton scored two goals in UMass’ 3-1 win over rival Rhode Island as the Minutemen picked up their first points of the A-10 season, moving into a tie for seventh two weeks into the league slate. They were his first two career goals and helped UMass secure its second-straight home victory. His first score came in the 25th minute after a URI turnover and tied the game at 1-1. His second goal was on an assist from leading scorer Josh Schwartz just over a minute into the second half to put the Minutemen ahead 3-1.
