NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - In the last week of regular season play, St. Bonaventure's Molly Curry and Butler's Randi Delong were named Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the league office announced Monday. The awards are for games played Oct. 22-28.

Curry was named Player of the Week for her offensive efforts in two crucial wins last weekend that earned the Bonnies a No. 5 seed in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. With just two minutes left in the second overtime period against Massachusetts on Friday (Oct. 26), Curry put the game-winner in the back of the net for a 1-0 victory. On Sunday (Oct. 28) against Rhode Island, with the Bonnies playing with just 10 players for the entire second half, the Ransomville, N.Y., native tied the game in the 61st minute. The Bonnies scored 16 minutes later, clinching a berth in the A-10 tournament. Of Curry's four goals this season, three have been game-winners, while the fourth was a game-tying goal. The sophomore forward ranks second on the team in goals (4) and third on the team in points (8). St. Bonaventure finished the regular season 8-10-1 overall and 5-4-0 in league play and will face No. 4 Butler in the A-10 Quarterfinals Thursday, Nov. 1.

Delong earned the final Rookie of the Week honor after leading the Bulldogs with a game-winning goal and a game-winning assist in Butler's two victories last weekend, cementing a No. 4 seed in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. Against George Washington on Friday (October 26), Delong scored her first collegiate goal in the 75th minute, tallying the only score in a 1-0 victory. In the last regular season game against Charlotte on Sunday (Oct. 26), Delong notched her first career assist on Sophia Maccagnone's double overtime goal in the second 1-0 win of the weekend. The Bulldogs finished 11-4-4 overall and 5-1-3 in conference play to secure a No. 4 seed in the Tournament. Butler will face St. Bonaventure in the A-10 Quarterfinals on Thursday, Nov. 1.
