NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) honored 15 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer teams with the Team Academic Award for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The Atlantic 10 also had seven schools in which both men's and women's teams received the honor, including Butler, Charlotte, Dayton, Duquesne, Rhode Island, Richmond and Xavier.

A total of 726 college soccer teams (222 men, 504 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year.
