NEWPORT NEWS, Va. –Dayton’s Ashley Campbell and VCU’s Natalie Moik have been named Atlantic 10 Conference Women’s Soccer Co-Players of the Week, while Sarah Pandolfi has earned Rookie of the Week for games played Sept. 9 - Sept. 15.

Campbell, a sophomore from Toronto, Canada, tallied three goals and one assist last weekend for the Flyers. On Friday, Campbell assisted Juliana Libertin on the first goal of the game, before scoring her fourth goal of the season in the 84th minute en route to a 4-0 Flyers win. On Sunday, Campbell recorded both Dayton goals in a 2-2 double-overtime tie against local rival, Wright State, and leads the team with six goals. The Flyers improved to 3-4-1 on the season, and will travel to Central Michigan and Toledo this week.

Moik recorded a hat-trick in the first 22 minutes of VCU’s 4-0 win against Campbell on Sunday. The three goals were the first of the redshirt-sophomore’s career, as she played in just three matches in the 2012 season. The Cologne, Germany native finished the weekend with five shots, including three on goal, and was assisted by Maren Johansen, Courtney Conrad and Sharon Wojcik. VCU improved to 4-4 with its two shutouts last weekend, picking up a win against Maine on Friday.

Pandolfi, a rookie out of North Haven, Conn., had the game-tying assist and game-winning goal in Massachusett’s 2-1 double-overtime win against Lamar. With the first half winding down, Pandolfi brought down a free kick in the penalty area and sent it to Daniela Alvarez for the equalizer, before scoring the game-winner in the 105th minute. The three points were the first of Pandolfi’s collegiate career. She also registered two shots in a 3-1 loss against No. 20 Texas A&M. The Mintuewomen improved to 2-4-1 on the season and host Brown on Thursday.
