With the win, George Washington improved to 4-2-3 (1-0 A-10) and will continue conference play when they host La Salle on Friday, Oct. 11.

Elson scored her first career goal and the game-winner, lifting George Washington over Rhode Island, 1-0, last Friday. With just under two minutes left in regulation, Elson sent a ball to the top left corner past a diving Rams goalkeeper. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native has one assist on the season, coming in a 3-1 loss to St. Francis (Pa.)
