NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 was represented by six women's soccer student-athletes on National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division 1 All-Mid-Atlantic Region teams, including first team nods for Dayton's Juliana Libertin and Saint Joseph's Mo Hawkins. Flyer teammate Ashley Campbell and La Salle's Courtney Niemiec, Renee Washington and Kelsey Haycook were named to the second team.

Libertin, a senior from Uniontown, Ohio, was named the 2013 Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year after notching seven goals and 16 assists. This season she was the NCAA’s active career leader in assists and finished with 43. She was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 and also selected to the A-10 All-Championship Team. This marks the second consecutive season Libertin was named First Team NSCAA All-Region.

Campbell was named the A-10 Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league in goals (18). She was also named First Team All-Atlantic 10 and to the A-10 All-Championship Team this year. This marks a first NSCAA All-region honor for the Bradford, Ontario, product.

Hawkins, a Philadelphia native, finished her senior season with a team-high eight goals and 17 points, earning Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team honors for the third consecutive season.Additionally, Hawkins started all 18 games this season for SJU and led the team in game-winning goals (four, ranked second in shots (51), and tied for third in assists (one). Hawkins is one of just two players in A-10 history be named Midfielder of the Year twice (2011, 2012).

Niemiec, also from Philadelphia, earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year recognition in 2012 and remained one of La Salle's most consistent and stalwart defensive presence being named first team All Conference this season.  Anchoring a defense that allowed only 18 goals all season, Niemiec pitched in as an offensive threat, netting a goal against George Mason on La Salle's senior day.

Washington earns the All-Region nod for the third consecutive season. The Ewing, NJ-native graduates tied for first in career goals at La Salle (40) and holds sole possession of second in career points (101). Named to the NSCAA All-America team in 2011 and CoSIDA Academic All-America in 2012, Washington will graduate among the program's most decorated student-athletes.

Haycook, who led the squad in goals (15) and points (41) during the 2013 campaign, has thrice been named to the Mid-Atlantic team in addition to earning All-America honors in 2011.  A standout for the Explorers during her career, the nutrition major from Point Pleasant Boro, NJ earned Capital One Academic All-America honors for her efforts off the field last month.
