NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - George Washington's Autumn Taylor and Fordham's Michele Daubman have been named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, while Brianna Lore of Saint Louis has been named Rookie of the Week.

Taylor batted .538 (7-13) with a home run and seven RBI to lead the Colonials to a perfect 4-0 weekend over rivals Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Three of Taylor's seven hits went for extra-bases and she also scored three runs. The senior from Severna Park, Md., delivered her best game of the week against Rhode Island on Saturday as she went 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored.

Daubman, a sophomore from North Massapequa, N.Y., picked up both of her team's victories while defeating Dayton on back-to-back days. For the week, Daubman went 2-0 while allowing only two earned runs on 10 hits over 14.0 innings pitched. In both victories Daubman went the distance for the Rams including a complete game one-hitter on Saturday against the Flyers.

Lore, a freshman from Sullivan, Mo., led the Billikens with two complete game victories over A-10 conference opponents, Temple and Saint Joseph's, last week. Over 14.0 innings pitched, Lore posted a record of 2-0 while allowing only four earned runs on 10 hits while striking out 11.
