NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The 2013 Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Championship is set to tee-off on Friday morning at the Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida.
The 13 teams will take on each other and the par 72 course that will play at 7,208 yards during the three-day, 54 hole championship. Live scoring will be available on Atlantic10.com.
Taking part in its first A-10 Golf Championship, Butler and VCU will tee off first on Friday at 7:30 a.m. From there, teams will start based on their finish from last year’s championship.
Following Butler and VCU will be St. Bonaventure and Temple at 8:15 a.m., followed by Saint Joseph’s, Fordham and La Salle at 9:00 a.m. Dayton, Rhode Island and Richmond will go off at 9:54 a.m., while Xavier, Charlotte and defending champion George Washington are set to tee off at 10:30 a.m.
Teams will play five golfers and score four and pairings will be recalculated after each round. A trophy presentation and awards ceremony will immediate follow Sunday’s final round. The winner of the A-10 Championship will advance to the NCAA Men’s Golf Tournament.
