LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association moved the University of Dayton women's volleyball program up two spots in its most recent poll to No. 12.

The Flyers are 22-4 on the year and undefeated in Atlantic 10 play with a 13-0 record. Most recently, they clinched their 10th overall and fourth consecutive A-10 regular season title with a 3-0 sweep of VCU.  Dayton has not lost in the past 13 matches.  All four of the Flyers' losses this season came against ranked opponents.

This marks the 58th consecutive week that Dayton has either received votes or was ranked in the AVCA poll.  The last poll that Dayton was left out of was on Nov. 23, 2009.  It also marks the 10th week this season that the Flyers have been ranked in the Top 25.

Stanford remained in the top spot this week after surpassing Penn State (No. 2) last week.  Texas, Oregon, and Washington round out the top five. Dayton received 746 points this week, putting them ahead of Florida State, BYU, Ohio State, and Florida.

Dayton is looking to end the season unbeaten in the A-10, but one more opponent is in its way.  The Flyers travel to Xavier Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. for the final conference match of the season.
