LA SALLE 75, ST. BONAVENTURE 67
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Tyreek Duren scored six of his 18 points in the closing minutes to help La Salle pull away and defeat St. Bonaventure 75-67 on Wednesday night.

Dion Wright hit a jumper to give St. Bonaventure a 67-66 lead with 2:23 remaining. Duren answered with two free throws at the 2:07 mark, sparking a 9-0 run to seal it for La Salle. La Salle was 9 for 10 from the line, including six from Duren, during the span.

Duren finished 4 of 8 from the field and a perfect 8 for 8 from the line, and has scored in double figures in 17 straight games. Jerrell Wright scored 18 points and Tyrone Garland and Sam Mills each added 12 points for La Salle (13-14, 5-8 Atlantic 10). Garland also dished out six assists for the Explorers.

Matthew Wright scored 18 points and Youssou Ndoye added 16 for St. Bonaventure (16-12, 6-8).

GEORGE MASON 69, RICHMOND 60
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - Sherrod Wright had 19 points and Bryon Allen added 18 as George Mason avoided another second-half collapse in a 69-60 win over Richmond on Wednesday night.

The win was the first home conference victory for the Patriots (10-17, 3-10 Atlantic-10), and first in their building since an 80-77 win over Penn on Jan. 2. The loss was the second in six games for the Spiders (18-10, 8-5) since losing leading scorer Cedrick Lindsay for the season.

The win did not come easy for the Patriots, who have lost eight games they led at halftime.

Richmond would draw to within 55-50 on a runner in the lane by ShawnDre' Jones with 5:15 remaining, but George Mason answered with a 7-0 run capped by a jumper by Patrick Holloway at 2:30 and the Spiders would draw no closer than seven the rest of the way.

Kendall Anthony had 23 points for Richmond.

MASSACHUSETTS 70, RHODE ISLAND 67
AMHERST, Mass (AP) - Chaz Williams scored 16 points and Massachusetts dominated from the foul line and rebounding for a 70-67 win over Rhode Island on Wednesday.

The Minutemen (22-5, 9-4 Atlantic 10), made 21 of 31 free throws and had a 41-28 rebounding advantage over the Rams (12-17, 4-10), who were 11 of 18 from the foul line.

Trey Davis came off the bench to add 13 points and Sampson Carter had 11. Derrick Gordon had 9 points and 10 rebounds and Williams contributed six assists.

Gilvydas Biruta had 17 points for Rhode Island with Xavier Munford adding 16, E.C. Matthews 14 and Hassan Martin 13. The Rams' bench was out-scored 19-4.

A three-point play by Jarelle Reischel gave URI, which trailed by nine earlier, a 60-56 lead with 4:46 to play.

UMass regained the lead and Williams and Davis made four free throws in the final minute to secure the win.
