“Through our three A-10 media partners, ESPN, CBS Sports Network and NBCSN, we have an extended television platform for some of our most storied A-10 rivalries and nationally competitive programs,” said Wendy S. Larry, Atlantic 10 Associate Commissioner.  “Our women’s basketball schedule will be highlighted by some of our best matchups and culminate with our Championship at the Richmond Coliseum."

ESPN will air the A-10 championship finale for the 17th straight year. CBS Sports Network will televise an additional 10 games; eight during the regular season and the two semifinal outings at the Atlantic 10 Championship on March 8th.  The A-10’s newest media partner NBCSN will show three league contests in the month of January.

Thursday’s schedule release comes on the heels of the A-10’s announcement that it has entered a three-year partnership with the City of Richmond to bring the A-10 Women’s Basketball Championship to the Richmond Coliseum beginning this season.

All 13 teams will take part in the championship which will take place March 5-9.   The championship will open with a play-in game on Wednesday, March 5, followed by four first-round games on Thursday.  The four quarterfinal games will tip-off Friday afternoon.
