Bowling Green Tops UMass in Thursday Afternoon Tilt

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Nola Henry provided a team-high 13 points and Kim Pierre-Louis scored 10 more, but UMass women's basketball was unable to overcome a hot-shooting Bowling Green squad, falling at the Stroh Center, 86-46 on Tuesday afternoon.
Henry added five rebounds and two assists while she scored seven of her points on 10 free throw attempts. Emily Mital chipped in nine points on a trio of made three-pointers. Alyx Stiff contributed five points and three boards off the bench in 11 minutes played.
Deborah Hoekstra led Bowling Green with 19 points, including a 4-for-6 performance on three-pointers. Erica Donovan followed with 18 points, including a 6-for-6 afternoon at the free throw line. Alexis Rogers notched 16 points and Jasmine Matthews followed with 10 to round out four Falcons who scored in double-digits.
The game was a rescheduled contest after the originally set meeting on Sunday, Dec. 15 had to be postponed due to winter weather in the Northeast.
