>Senior Robyn Parks scored 22 of her game-high 31 points in the second half and helped VCU post its best start in the program’s 40-year history with a 71-68 come-from-behind victory at Duquesne Saturday night. The Rams also extended their school-record winning streak to 13 games, while pushing their overall mark to 14-1 for the first time ever.

>Playing on the road for the first time in over a month, GW defeated defending A-10 champion Saint Joseph’s on Sunday for its seventh straight victory, its longest win streak since the 2007-08 season … The Colonials are 11-4 on the year, their best start since 2007-08, which was also the first time they opened Atlantic 10 play 2-0.

>The Fordham Rams extended their school-record winning streak to 12 games and senior Abigail Corning became just the 16th player in school history to score 1,000 points, as Fordham downed UMass 75-61 in the Mullins Center on Sunday afternoon.
