Saint Joseph's 60, Penn 52 | Recap

Notable
>In Fordham’s win over VCU on Wednesday, Erin Rooney accomplished something that had not been done by a Ram in nearly 22 years.  The Christchurch, New Zealand, native tallied 11 points, 11 assists, and ten rebounds, becoming the first Ram since Kelly Roche on February 1st, 1992, to record a triple-double.

>The University of Dayton women’s basketball team has won 21 consecutive Atlantic 10 games with its 90-69 victory over George Washington Thursday night at UD Arena. The Flyers have also won 20 consecutive home games; their streak is the fourth-longest in the nation.  UD’s last league loss came on Feb. 11, 2012 to St. Bonaventure by the score of 56-55.

>Freshman Olivia Healy led the Richmond women’s basketball team over A-10 newcomer George Mason, 67-64, Wednesday afternoon in front of a crowd of 1,876 for Dream Big Day at the Robins Center. The win lifted the Spiders to 8-10 overall and 2-3 in the conference, while the Patriots lost their fifth-straight to fall 6-12 on the season and 0-5 in the A-10. Healy led three other Spiders in double-figures with 20 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for her fourth double-double of the season and her second-straight game with seven assists.

>Dayton is on a seven-game winning streak, including five-consecutive wins to close out the non-conference portion of its season, a 91-64 win over A-10 newcomer George Mason in the UD's conference opener, and a 73-58 win over St. Bonaventure in the Flyers' A-10 home opener.

>The A-10 has seven teams ranked in the top-100 of the RPI report.  Saint Joseph’s is currently 14, Dayton is 33,  while Fordham is 74 . The A-10 as a whole is ranked ninth among conferences.
