A-10 Postseason News and NotesA-10 at a Glance
>The Atlantic 10, one of the premier women’s basketball leagues in the country, has seen at least 50 percent of its membership participate in postseason play in four the last five seasons. The A-10 has earned three NCAA Tournament bids in six of the last nine years and 17 times overall. The league has also had at least seven of its teams advance to postseason play in each of the last five years.
>Duquesne became the seventh A-10 with 20 wins last night. This marks the first time since the 2010-11 season that that has occurred.
>Fordham will be making its second NCAA Tournament and its first appearance since 1994. Dayton will appear in the tournament for fifth consecutive year, while SJU is making its second consecutive trip and 13th appearance in school history.

> An Atlantic 10 team has been to the NCAA’s every year since the tournament’s inception in 1983.
> In 1989 a league-high four teams represented the Atlantic 10 in the NCAA Tournament.
> Atlantic 10 teams have compiled a 61-77 (.444) record in the NCAA Tournament.

>The best seed ever received in the A-10 was in 1991 when Penn State was a #1 seed and earned a first round bye before getting upset by eighth-seeded James Madison, 73-71.

>The A-10 has received at least one bid to compete in the WNIT for 15-straight years.
>Atlantic 10 teams have compiled a record of 44-53 (.443) in the WNIT.
