NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their All-Academic Cross Country Programs on Wednesday, a list featuring 13 Atlantic 10 Conference cross country programs that have earned All-Academic status.

The Atlantic 10 Conference had six men’s teams and seven women’s teams earn the honor. A total of 352 teams nationally, men and women combined, earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better.

Overall, there were 140 schools that had both its men’s and women’s programs earn this honor, with six of those programs being from the A-10. Charlotte, Dayton, Fordham, La Salle, Richmond and Temple each earned this distinction.

The Fordham men's cross country team was one of six Atlantic 10 schools to earn All-Academic Team honors with a team GPA of 3.37, along with Richmond, Charlotte, Dayton, La Salle, and Temple. Of the Atlantic 10 squads, Fordham ranked first in GPA, with Dayton in second at 3.29.

The Dayton women’s cross country team was one of seven Atlantic 10 schools to earn All-Academic Team honors with a team GPA of 3.51. Joining Dayton was Charlotte, Fordham, La Salle, Richmond, Saint Joseph’s and Temple.
