Former A-10 Players Getting Opportunities in NBA Summer Leagues
NBA Summer Leagues always are filled with familiar faces for Atlantic 10 men’s basketball fans, and 2019 won’t disappoint. There are 15 former A-10 players from nine different schools on Summer League rosters, including some stars that have been gone from their schools for a few years.
The big Summer League showcase is in Las Vegas. It began Friday and runs until July 15. Short two-days league in California and Salt Lake City took place just before July 4.

St. Bonaventure, Rhode Island and George Washington each have two former players competing in Vegas. The Bonnies have Jaylen Adams on the Hawks and Youssou Ndoye on the Mavericks in Las Vegas. For the Rams, Xavier Munford (Milwaukee Bucks) and Jared Terrell (Minnesota Timberwolves) have each earned a spot. Tyler Cavanaugh (New York Knicks) and Yuta Watanabe (Memphis Grizzlies), both George Washington graduates, are also playing. Watanabe also played in the Salt Lake City league for the Grizzlies.
