Apply Now for the NCAA Inclusion Forum!
The Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) is pleased to announce a new initiative to provide a minimum of seven (7) A-10 student-athletes with the opportunity to attend the 2019 NCAA Inclusion Forum (Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28 in Atlanta).
The NCAA Inclusion Forum begins Friday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. and concludes Sunday, April 28 at 12:30 p.m. There is a special welcome reception for Forum attendees on Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. In addition, there will be a special session and a group dinner for the A-10 student-athlete cohort, plus other administrators, staff
The opportunity for the student-athletes will come in the form of a scholarship/grant valued at $500 ($200 travel stipend and $299 to cover Forum registration, which includes hotel accommodations and some meals).
How to apply:
2. Student-athletes interested in applying for one (1) of the seven (7) A-10 scholarship/grant should submit a short video (2 minutes or less) that highlights your background and why you would like to attend the NCAA Inclusion Forum.
Deadline to apply:
- Videos must be submitted by Monday, February 25.
What should my video focus on?
- There is no mandatory content for video submissions, however, it is a good opportunity to put a personal or creative touch on application messages. (Feel free to share your story, your interests, what this opportunity means or may lead to).
- While student-athletes are encouraged to be as serious or as creative as they would like, please note that the video applications will not be shared publically.
