NEWPORT NEWS, Va.— Fordham’s Thomas Slattery and Richmond’s Colleen Carney were named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Performers of the Week, respectively, the league announced Tuesday. Also honored were Saint Louis’ Ben Naeger, who was named the Men’s Rookie of the Week, and George Mason’s Riley Freeland, who was named the Women’s Rookie of the Week. The awards were based off performances from meets held Sept. 25-Oct. 1.
