Graduate Student, Braintree, Mass./Archbishop Williams HS
Quigley provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships after winning the mile-run at NYU's Gotham Cup on Jan. 19 with a Conference-best time of 4:02.80.

Trevon Rainford - La Salle
Freshman, Philadelphia, Pa./Engineering & Science HS
Rainford placed eighth at the NYU Gotham Cup on Jan. 18 with a time of 4:16.39...his time is the fourth-fastest in the Conference this season.
Women's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week
Christina DeRosa - Massachusetts
Senior, Sound Beach, N.Y./Miller Place HS
DeRosa won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16.58.47 at the Gotham Cup on January 18...her career-best time was the second-fastest mark in UMass indoor track history...qualified her for the ECAC Championships.

Paris Williams - Temple
Freshman, Aberdeen Md./Aberdeen HS
Williams won a pair of events in ECAC qualifying times at the Gotham Cup on Jan. 18...won the 500-meter run (1:15.24) and was a member of the 4x400-meter relay which also finished first (3:52.10).

Brad Byars - Saint Louis
Senior, Marion, Ill./Marion HS
Byars earns his second A-10 Performer of the Week award of the season after winning three individual events at South Dakota State (Jan. 18-19)...captured the 50-yard freestyle (21.24), 100-yard freestyle (47.95) and 100-yard butterfly (51.06) events...swam the leadoff leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay which posted a school-record time of 6:57.37...his mark in the 100-yard butterfly is a personal best.

Michael Dahle - Saint Louis
Freshman, St. Louis, Mo./Lindbergh HS
Dahle earns his league-leading fourth A-10 Rookie of the Week citation after setting a school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle at South Dakota State (Jan. 18-19) with a time of 9:43.00...placed first in the 400-yard individual medley (4:16.80) and 500-yard freestyle (4:54.89) events and added second-place showings in the 100-yard butterfly (54.80) and 200-yard backstroke (1:55.97) events.
Jim O'Hara - Duquesne
Freshman, Fountain Hills, Ariz./Brophy College Prep
O'Hara placed first in three individual races on Jan. 19 as Duquesne earned a 139-122 win versus Xavier...touched first in the 100-yard freestyle (48.30), 200-yard freestyle (1:44.64) and 500-yard freestyle (4:48.80) events...swam a leg on the 400-yard freestyle relay that registered a pool-record time of 3:11.82.

Nicole Marshall - Fordham
Sophomore, Cornwell, N.Y./Cornwell HS
Marshall won the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.41) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:22.18) events on Jan. 19 in Fordham's 143-88 win at La Salle...her time in the 200-yard breaststroke was a season best...also swam a leg of the winning 400-yard medley relay (3:59.88).

Kari Peglar - Xavier
Freshman, Chesterfield, Mo./Lafayette HS
Peglar captured gold in the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.14) and 500-yard freestyle (5:05.37) events on Jan. 19 as Xavier downed Duquesne, 144-118...placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:36.98) and swam a leg of the 400-yard medley relay (4:03.35) which finished runner-up...named the A-10 Rookie of the Week for the fourth time.

Ra'ees Ismail - Xavier
Junior, Maineville, Ohio/King HS
Ismail took both matches in the third flight against Toledo (6-3, 2-6, 6-1) and IPFW (6-1, 6-2)...won both doubles matches in the second flight, 9-8 and 8-2, respectively...improved to 11-4 on the year in singles play.

Sophomore, Cincinnati, Ohio/Cincinnati Christian Hills HS
Ducro took both matches over the weekend, her singles match against Youngstown State (6-4, 6-4) in the fourth flight followed by a 7-5, 6-3 victory against Akron in the fifth flight...also won both doubles matches in the second flight, 8-4.

Freshman, Galena, Ohio/Saint Francis DeSales HS
Grote, in the second singles flight, defeated her Ball State opponent, 4-6, 6-4 (10-6) on Jan. 19...lost 8-4 at the No. 3 doubles flight.
