PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Atlantic 10 commissioner Linda Bruno has announced the hiring of Kelly Webb as assistant director of compliance.

In her new role at the A-10, Webb will manage the National Letter of Intent (NLI) program, the NCAA coaches' certification exams and will serve as the liaison to the Atlantic 10 Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Webb also will assist the associate commissioner with the tracking of new legislation and interpretations, processing of conference-administered waivers and secondary violation reports.

Webb joins the Atlantic 10 after serving as the compliance assistant at the West Coast Conference since October, 2006. Her duties included processing secondary violations, hardship waivers and National Letters of Intent for member institutions; verifying and collecting eligibility reports from member institutions; monitoring the progress of student-athletes toward degree and grade point average requirements; and acting as the contact to member institutions for NCAA rules interpretations.

Prior to her arrival at the West Coast Conference, Webb held the position of championships/compliance intern at the Western Athletic Conference from January-June, 2006, where she processed National Letters of Intent and reviewed and processed hardship waivers submitted by member institutions while handling various championship administrative duties.

A 2004 graduate of the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor's of science degree in business administration, Webb earned her MBA with a specialization in sports business management from San Diego State University in 2006.

"We are extremely pleased that Kelly has joined our staff," said Atlantic 10 commissioner Linda Bruno. "Her extensive experience with two conference offices will be a tremendous asset to our member institutions."
