Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Chris Salvaggione - Charlotte
Senior, Forward, Monument, Colo./Lewis Palmer HS
Salvaggione led all A-10 players with eight points on the week scoring four goals in two wins, including both game-winners...notched two goals in a 3-2 win over Duquesne on Oct. 31...added two more goals in a 4-0 win over St. Bonaventure on Nov. 2...has a Conference-leading 15 goals on the season, the most by a 49er since 1992...also leads the league with 37 points (15g, 7a)...second Player of the Week honor.

Tyler Witmer - Temple
Freshman, Forward, Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser HS
Witmer notched two goals, including one game-winning goal, and an assist in a 2-0 weekend for the Owls...scored a goal in a 4-2 upset win over No. 22 Dayton on Oct. 31...notched the game-winner and added an assist in a 4-1 win against Xavier on Nov. 2...leads the team in goals with eight and is second in points with 17 (8g, 1a)...third Rookie of the Week honor.
Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Kim Boulos - Fordham
Senior, Forward, Croton, N.Y./Croton Harmon HS
Boulos earns her second A-10 Player of the Week award of the season after tallying three goals in a pair of matches over the weekend...scored two goals in the Rams' 3-2 (2OT) loss at Dayton on Oct. 31...registered her fifth game-winning goal on Nov. 2 as Fordham downed Xavier, 3-1...amassed eight shots in the two contests.
Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Dana O'Brien - La Salle
Freshman, Forward, Warminster, Pa./William Tennent HS
O'Brien scored a pair of goals, including her team-leading fourth game-winner of the year, as La Salle turned aside Xavier on Oct. 31, 3-0...leads the team with nine goals and shares the team lead with 20 points...named the A-10 Rookie of the Week for the second time.
Field Hockey Player of the Week
Dani Pycroft - Richmond
Sophomore, Midfielder, Harare, Zimbabwe/Arundel HS
Pycroft scored two goals in a 9-0 victory over Saint Louis on Nov. 1...scored again in Richmond's 3-1 loss to Ohio on Nov. 2...has four goals in her last three games.
Field Hockey Rookie of the Week
Katelin Peterson - Richmond
Freshman, Forward, Escondido, Calif./San Pasqual HS
Peterson scored two goals and had one assist in Richmond's 9-0 win over Saint Louis on Nov. 1...scored six goals in three games to finish the regular season with a team-leading 12 goals and 29 points.
Volleyball Players of the Week
Courtney Cowles - Charlotte
Senior, Setter, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS
Cowles recorded her first career triple-double and first for Charlotte since joining the A-10 in 2005 with 43 assists, 13 digs and 10 kills in a 3-1 win over Presbyterian on Nov. 1...posted no errors with 10 kills to hit .476 on the day...added three service aces and a block in the win...ranks fifth in the league with 9.65 assists per set.
Tiffany Gaerke - Dayton
Sophomore, Outside Hitter, Fort Recovery, Ohio/Fort Recovery HS
Gaerke helped the Flyers to a pair of 3-0 sweeps over West Division rivals Xavier and Rhode Island on Oct. 31 and Nov. 2, respectively...averaged a team-high 4.67 kills and 3.33 digs per set...had 17 kills and 13 digs in the win over the Musketeers...added 11 kills and seven digs in a three-set sweep over the Rams.
Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Alyssa Valentine - George Washington
Freshman, Setter, Tustin, Calif./Edison HS
Valentine earned her third straight Rookie of the Week honor and fifth overall after assisting on 45 of George Washington's 55 kills (82 percent) in GW's 3-1 win over Howard on Oct. 28...finished with 45 assists, seven digs, four aces and two kills on the afternoon...averaged 11.25 assists per set and ranks sixth in the league overall in assists with 9.30 per set.
Golf Player/Rookie of the Week
Jimmy Bea - Saint Joseph's
Freshman, Southampton, Pa./Council Rock South HS
Bea turned in his best event of the fall season, sharing individual medalist honors at the Old Dominion/Seascape Invitational on Oct. 27-28...posted a season-low 68 in the opening round and a 72 in the final round to finish with a score of 140.
Women's Cross Country Most Outstanding Performer
Amanda Goetschius - Charlotte
Sophomore, Franklinville, N.J./Delsea Regional HS
Goetschius captured the individual title on Nov. 1 at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships in a time of 17:37.7...marked the third-fastest time in Conference annals...Charlotte finished second in the 14-team field, its highest-ever finish since joining the A-10 in 2005.

Katrina Spratford - Richmond
Freshman, Califon, N.J./Voorhees HS
Spratford finished sixth overall and tops among freshmen with a time of 18:15.4 at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships on Nov. 1...placed third among UR runners...Richmond claimed its second-ever A-10 title and first since 2003.
Men's Cross Country Most Outstanding Performer
Adu Dentamo - Charlotte
Junior, Charlotte, N.C./Vance HS
Dentamo claimed the individual title at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships on Nov. 1 with a time of 24:01.9...marked the third-fastest time in Conference history...named to the All-Conference team for the third time...Charlotte finished fourth in the 14-team field.
Men's Cross Country Most Outstanding Rookie
Nick Crits - La Salle
Freshman, Wissahickon, Pa./Wissahickon HS
Crits was the top freshman finisher on Nov. 1 at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships with a time of 25:04.9...placed 27th in a field of 300 runners...was the third Explorer to cross the finish line...La Salle placed fifth out of 14 teams.

Anna Larson - Saint Louis
Junior, St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell HS
Larson placed first in the one-meter (271.70) and three-meter (302.35) diving events on Nov. 1 at the Lindenwood Invitational...qualified for the NCAA Zone Meet for the third consecutive year...her three-meter score ranks second in program history.
Erin Sykes - Duquesne
Sophomore, Greensboro, N.C./Grimsley HS
Sykes broke her own school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a winning time of 10:21.31 at Bucknell on Nov. 1...also captured gold in the 500-yard freestyle (5:03.94)...the Dukes fell to Bucknell, 174-120, but earned a 188-74 win over Saint Francis (Pa.).

Hannah Tautz - Saint Louis
Freshman, Littleton, Colo./Littleton HS
Competing at the Lindenwood Invitational on Nov. 1, Tautz placed second in the one-meter (248.00) and three-meter (291.90) diving events... posted personal-best scores in both events...qualified for the NCAA Zone Meet in the three-meter diving competition.

Ian Walsh - Duquesne
Junior, Tobyhanna, Pa./Pucoma Mountain West HS
Walsh placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.26) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.00) events on Nov. 1 at Bucknell...helped the Dukes to a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay (1:37.54)...Duquesne dropped a 158-130 decision.
Men's Swimming & Diving Rookies of the Week
Roman Becicka - Duquesne
Freshman, Gem Lake, Minn./Mounds View HS
Becicka captured gold in the 1,000-yard freestyle on Nov. 1 at Bucknell with winning time of 9:44.27...placed second in the 200-yard individual medley (1:55.84) and 500-yard freestyle (4:42.27) events...Duquesne fell to the host Bison, 158-130.
Chad Carmichael - Saint Louis
Freshman, Westlake, Ohio/Saint Ignatius HS
Carmichael won the one-meter (308.10) and three-meter (316.15) diving events on Nov. 1 at the Lindenwood Invitational...now ranks second in program history in both events...became the second-ever SLU male diver to qualify for the NCAA Zone Meet.
