A-10 Winter Sports Honor Roll - Feb. 8

2/8/2010 - The A-10 Winter Sports Honor Roll for the week of Feb. 1-7 was announced on Monday, with senior Shayna Daugherty of Rhode Island earning Performer of the Week honors in Women's Indoor Track & Field. Daugherty placed second in the high jump (5-8 1/2) and also posted a personal-best time of 9.07 in the 60m hurdles at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.

Men's Basketball Recap - Feb. 7

2/7/2010 - Darrin Govens scored 22 points and Idris Hilliard added 19 to lead Saint Joseph's to a 78-71 win over St. Bonaventure in Atlantic 10 men's basketball action at Hagan Arena. The win snaps a three-game losing streak for the Hawks, and improves their record to 9-14 (3-6 A-10), while the Bonnies fall to 9-12 (2-6). Govens shot 8-for-12 from the field and Garrett Williamson added 16 points for the Hawks, while going 8-for-11 from the foul line. Carl Jones had nine points and Todd O'Brien had a team-high eight rebounds.

George Washington Versus Richmond Women's Hoops Game Moved To Thursday

2/9/2010 - The George Washington women's basketball team's game against Richmond scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 7:00 pm at Charles E. Smith Center has been postponed until Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:00 pm due to the current and expected inclement weather conditions in the Washington Metro area.
