Men's Indoor Track & Field Performers of the Week
Erik Hoagland - Massachusetts
Senior, Belchertown, MA/Suffolk (CT) Academy

Competing at the New Hampshire Tri-Meet on Jan. 20, Hoagland eclipsed the 31-year school record in the indoor long jump with a winning mark of 23-10 1/4...placed second in the 55m dash (6.45) and third in the 200m dash (22.11) on Jan. 17 at the Boston University Quad Meet...qualified for the IC4A Championships in all three events.

Jason Moore - Charlotte
Junior, Charlotte, NC/Vance HS

Earns his second A-10 Performer of the Week award in as many weeks after finishing third in the 60m (6.75) and 200m dashes (21.91) at the Clemson Invitational (Jan. 19-20)...qualified for the USA Track & Field Championships in the 60m dash...Charlotte finished sixth in the nine-team field.

Men's Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week
Adam Hegel - Temple
Freshman, Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan HS

Competing at the Great Dane Classic at Albany on Jan. 19, Hegel finished sixth in the long jump with a mark of 22-8...Temple finished 12th in the 22-team field.

Women's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week
Jessica Young - Richmond
Sophomore, Columbia, SC/Ridge View HS

Competing at the Maryland Invitational on Jan. 20, Young finished second in the 60m dash with an NCAA Provisional qualifying time of 7.42...also placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 24.83.

Women's Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week
Kristen Crawford - Richmond
Freshman, Staunton, VA/Robert E. Lee HS

Crawford finished second in the shot put on Jan. 20 at the Maryland Invitational with a mark of 44-8 3/4...was a personal-best attempt in the event.

Women's Swimming & Diving Performers of the Week
Melissa Pond - Massachusetts
Senior, Wayland, MA/Wayland HS

Pond won her first-ever three-meter diving competition versus Boston College on Jan. 20 with a score of 279.49...qualified for the NCAA Zone "A" Regional Meet...placed fourth in the one-meter competition with a personal-best total of 242.85...UMass dropped a 153-147 decision.

Elena Ramirez - Saint Louis
Sophomore, Champaign, IL/St. Thomas More HS

Ramirez earns her second A-10 Performer of the Week award in as many weeks after winning the 100-yard fly versus Butler, I.U.P.U.I and South Dakota State (Jan. 19-20) in a time of 55.19, the fastest in the Atlantic 10 this season...also placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.02) and 200-yard butterfly (2:02.65) events.

Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week
Shannon Duval - La Salle
Freshman, Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name Convent HS

Duval earns her third A-10 Rookie of the Week award of the season after winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.70), 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.17) and 200-yard freestyle (1:54.50) events at Seton Hall on Jan. 16...placed first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:07.30) in the Explorers' 152-83 loss at Fordham on Jan. 20.

Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week
Karo Isajan - La Salle
Senior, Aurora, CO/Smokey Hill HS

Isajan won the one- and three-meter diving events at Seton Hall on Jan. 16 and at Fordham on Jan. 20...had a winning score of 392.10 in the three-meter versus Seton Hall and 357.80 in the one-meter against Fordham...qualified for the NCAA Zone "A" Regional Meet...La Salle fell to Seton Hall, 162-138, and downed Fordham, 142-101.

Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week
Sal Cruz - Saint Louis
Freshman, Chesterfield, MO/Parkway Central HS

Cruz earns his second A-10 Rookie of the Week award in as many weeks after winning the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:10.29 versus Butler, I.U.P.U.I. and South Dakota State (Jan. 19-20)...marked the third-fastest time in program history...recorded personal best times in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.08) and 400-yard individual medley (4:26.05).
