Women's Indoor Track Most Outstanding Track Performer
Shareese Woods - Charlotte
Senior, Fort Lee, VA/Prince George HS

Woods garnered Most Outstanding Track Performer honors at the 2007 A-10 Championship on Feb. 17 after winning 200m and 400m dashes with times of 24.17 and 54.42, respectively...established meet records in both events...named the Most Outstanding Performer for the second consecutive year...Charlotte claimed its second straight A-10 crown.

Most Outstanding Field Performer
Kerstin Greene - Fordham
Senior, Frankfurt, Germany/Carl Von Weinberg HS

Greene placed first in the triple jump on Feb. 17 at the 2007 A-10 Championship with a school and meet record mark of 40-9...placed second in both the long jump (18-11 3/4) and high jump (5-7) events...her mark in the long jump was tops in program history...added a fourth-place showing in the 55m hurdles in a school-record time of 8.32...earned Most Outstanding Field Performer honors at the Championship...Fordham placed seventh in the 12-team field.

Women's Indoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Rookie
Amy Van Alstine - Richmond
Freshman, Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park HS

Van Alstine placed second in the mile (4:54.44) and third in the 3,000m (10:04.36) on Feb. 17 at the 2007 A-10 Championship...earned Most Outstanding Rookie honors...Richmond finished second out of 12 teams.

Men's Indoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Track Performer
Sean Quigley - La Salle
Senior, Braintree, MA/Archbishop Williams HS

Competing at the 2007 A-10 Championship on Feb. 17, Quigley captured gold in the mile (4:09.30) and 3,000m run (8:27.12) and ran a leg of the 4x800m relay which placed second (7:49.76)...set a meet record in the mile and defended his title in the 3,000m...named the Most Outstanding Track Performer at the Championship...La Salle finished second in the 10-team field.

Men's Indoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Field Performer
Yudehwheh Gbaa - Rhode Island
Junior, Providence, RI/Hope HS

Gbaa earned Most Outstanding Field Performer honors at the 2007 A-10 Championship on Feb. 17 after winning the triple jump with a mark of 50-2 3/4...placed third in both the long jump (22-11) and 55m hurdles (7.64)...Rhode Island won its fifth Conference title in the last seven years.

Men's Indoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Rookie
Josh Louis - Temple
Sophomore, Spring Valley, NY/Ramapo HS

Competing in his first season of indoor competition, Louis claimed the high jump on Feb. 17 at the 2007 A-10 Championship with a mark of 6-7...placed ninth in the 55m hurdles (7.92)...named the Most Outstanding Rookie of the Championship...Temple finished eighth out of 10 teams.

Women's Swimming & Diving Most Outstanding Swimmer
Lauren Beaudreau - Richmond
Sophomore, Lafayette, CA/Campolindo HS

Beaudreau shattered three meet records en route to winning three individual events at the 2007 A-10 Championships (Feb. 21-24)...won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.20), 200-yard individual medley (2:01.01) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.87)...swam a leg on the record-setting 200-yard medley (1:43.49) and 800-yard freestyle (7:28.19) relays...named the Most Outstanding Performer of the Championship...led Richmond to its league-record sixth consecutive A-10 crown.

Women's Swimming & Diving Most Outstanding Diver
Katie Gifford - La Salle
Junior, Souderton, PA/Souderton Area HS

Gifford captured gold in the one-meter diving competition at the A-10 Championships (Feb. 21-24) with a meet record total of 493.95 points...added a fifth-place showing in the three-meter event (473.95)...garnered Most Outstanding Diver honors of the Championship...La Salle finished sixth out of 10 teams.

Women's Swimming & Diving Most Outstanding Rookie
Katie Sieben - Richmond
Freshman, Seymour, CT/Seymour HS

Sieben garnered Most Outstanding Rookie honors at the 2007 A-10 Championship (Feb. 21-24) after swimming a leg on three of Richmond's gold-medal relay teams and won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 23.73...the Spiders' 200-yard medley established a meet record with a time of 1:43.49...added a silver medal in the 100-yard freestyle (52.48)...the Spiders claimed their sixth straight A-10 title.

Men's Swimming & Diving Most Outstanding Swimmer
Evan Swisher - Massachusetts
Senior, North Bennington, VT/Mount Anthony Union HS

Swisher set an A-10 record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:46.69 to lead Massachusetts to its ninth Conference title in program history...also placed first in the 100-yard backstroke (49.71) and second in the 200-yard individual medley (1:50.29)...swam a leg of the winning 400-yard medley relay (3:21.23)...named the Most Outstanding Swimmer of the 2007 A-10 Championship (Feb. 21-24).

Men's Swimming & Diving Most Outstanding Diver
Karo Isajan - La Salle
Senior, Aurora, Co/Smokey Hill HS

Isajan claimed the three-meter diving competition at the 2007 A-10 Championships (Feb. 21-24) with an A-10 record total of 617.65...finished second in the one-meter event with a total of 623.90...named the Most Outstanding Diver at the A-10 Championship for an unprecedented fourth consecutive year...La Salle placed fourth in the nine-team field.

Men's Swimming & Diving Most Outstanding Rookie
Ryan Coombs - Fordham
Freshman, Newburgh, NY/Newburgh Free Academy

Coombs placed first in the 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 4:33.48 at the 2007 A-10 Championships (Feb. 21-24)...added a silver medal in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.22)...placed fourth in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:04.41)...named the Most Outstanding Rookie of the Championship...Fordham finished sixth in the nine-team field.

Baseball Player of the Week
Ryan Cunningham - Rhode Island
Senior, 1B, 6-3, 210 lbs., Centreville, VA/Westfield HS

Cunningham wet 10-for-19 (.526) with five runs scored and nine RBI in Rhode Island's four-game series at Florida International (Feb. 23-25)...collected at least two hits in all four contests, including a trio of three-hit performances...his two-out single scored a pair on Feb. 24 in the Rams' 6-4 victory.

Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Ian Marshall - Richmond
Sophomore, RHP, 6-3, 190 lbs., Gaithersburg, MD/Gaithersburg HS
Marshall tossed seven shutout innings and fanned a career-high 10 on Feb. 24 as Richmond edged Delaware, 2-0...scattered four hits and walked just one to earn his first win of the season.

Adam Mills - Charlotte
Senior, RHP, 6-0, 189 lbs., Big Pool, MD/Clear Springs HS

Mills improved to 3-0 on the season after yielding three hits in a complete-game effort as Charlotte edged Campbell on Feb. 23, 1-0...walked three and hit a batter while striking out 13...has 45 strikeouts in 29 innings pitched in 2007.

Baseball Rookie of the Week
J.D. Dunn - Saint Louis
Freshman, OF, 5-9, 165 lbs., Franklin, TN/Centennial HS

Dunn collected four hits in eight at-bats and scored four runs in the Billikens' three-game series at Central Arkansas (Feb. 23-25)...added three RBI and three walks.

Softball Player of the Week
Hilary King - George Washington
Junior, INF, Canal Winchester, OH/Pickerington North HS

King hit an impressive .667 in the Mercer Classic (Feb. 23-24) in Macon, GA helping George Washington to a 3-1 record in its opening weekend of play...hit two homeruns in two at-bats in a 14-5 win over Oakland (2/23)...scored two runs and posted a career-high six RBI in the contest...finished the weekend with four hits in six at-bats, five runs scored, seven RBI, two stolen bases and four walks.

Softball Pitchers of the Week
Christy Murray - Charlotte
Senior, Pitcher, San Jose, CA/Archbishop Mitty HS

Murray was 3-0 on the week with a 1.59 ERA at the First Pitch Classic (Feb. 23-24) hosted by Charlotte...pitched 22 innings, had three complete games, gave up five earned runs while striking out twenty and walking just five...went eight innings in Charlotte's 3-1 over UNCG (2/24), giving up one unearned run on three hits while striking out six.

Bailey Sanders - Massachusetts
Freshman, Pitcher/IF, Durham, CT/Miss Porter's Academy

Sanders was 1-1 with a 1.08 ERA as No. 24/25 UMass went 2-3 at the prestigious NFCA Leadoff Classic (2/23-25)...gave up three runs, two of which were earned, on seven hits and four walks in 13.0 innings pitched...struck out seven batters and held opponents to a .152 batting average...win came against DePaul (2/24), a team receiving votes in both top 25 polls...picked up a complete game allowing two runs, one earned, on five hits...took a tough complete game loss against No. 19/19 Florida (2/23) despite holding the Gators to just two hits.

Softball Rookie of the Week
Carly Normandin - Massachusetts
Freshman, OF, Gardner, MA/Gardner HS

Normandin saw her first collegiate action at the NFCA Leadoff Classic (2/23-35) and hit a team-best .400...was 4-for-10 with a run scored, a double and a home run...home run came against DePaul (2/24) and was the first hit of her career...also had two hits against Coastal Carolina (2/25), her first career multi- hit game...compiled an .800 slugging percentage and .400 on-base percentage on the weekend.

Lacrosse Player of the Week
Mandy Friend - Richmond
Sophomore, Midfield/Attack, Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy

Friend has put in three-straight hat tricks, including two five-goal performances in No. 13 Richmond's 2-1 start on the season...led the Spiders at Longwood (2/16) converting 5-of-7 shots and grabbing five ground balls...went on to convert 5-of-7 shots against Virginia Tech (2/18) for fourth career five-goal performance...led the Spiders with a hat trick off of perfect 3-of-3 shooting at No. 2 Duke (2/23)...also assisted on two others.

Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
Stefanie McKee - La Salle
Freshman, Attack, Baldwinsville, NY/Baldwinsville HS

McKee scored hr first collegiate goal in La Salle's 11-10 season opening win over Colgate (2/24)...scored one goal on two shots...added two ground balls in the win.

Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Allysa Detroy - Dayton
Junior, Evansville, IN/North HS

Went 2-0 at second singles as Dayton split its two matches this past week...posted a 6-1, 6-3 win over Oakland on Feb. 24, as well as an 8-4 first doubles win...was a 6-3, 6-2 second singles victor against Detroit the next day to improve to 5-5 in singles play this season.

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Ellen de Jong - Massachusetts
Freshman, Rotterdam, The Netherlands/Wolfert Tweetalig

Improved to 8-4 in singles play an 10-4 in doubles with two wins in each area this past week...took a 7-5, 3-6, 10-5 decision at third singles against Dartmouth on Feb. 23...also won 8-5 at second doubles...on Feb. 25, posted 6-0, 6-0 singles and 8-2 doubles wins against Fordham.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Marcus Fadul - Saint Louis
Junior, Campinas, Brazil/Anglo Campinas

In Saint Louis' lone match of the week, Fadul earned a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 fourth singles win over Xavier's J.T. Torbeck on Feb. 23...also teamed at third doubles to earn an 8-6 win...the Billikens won the match, 4-3.

Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
P.J. Hendrie - Saint Louis
Freshman/New Braunsels, TX/New Braunfels HS

In Saint Louis' 4-3 win over Xavier on Feb. 23, Hendrie captured a 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 win at third singles from Ra'ees Ismail to help the Bills to the team victory...he also took an 8-6 second doubles decision.
