6/20/2009 - Senior Lamarra Currie and sophomore Darius Law of Charlotte have been named to the ESPN The Magazine Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-America Team in voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Currie garnered first-team distinction for the second consecutive year, while Law was named to the second-team.

Dutille qualified for the NCAA regionals and finished ninth of 22 runners in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Penn Relays on Apr. 23...his time of 8:59.18 is a personal-best and is the best in the league this year.

Smiles recorded a fourth-place time of 14.85 in the 110m hurdles at the SIUE Twilight on Apr. 25...also clocked a time of 53.84 in the 400m...currently holds the second-best time in the A-10 this season.

Jasmine Jennings - Rhode Island
Senior, Warwick, R.I./Warwick Veterans HS

Jennings became just the third URI student-athlete to win a Championship of America event at the Penn Relays on Apr. 23...she hit a mark of 190-3 to win the event, as well as qualify for the NCAA regionals.

Christa Plummer - La Salle
Senior, Quakertown, Pa./Palisades HS

Wilson replaced her school record in the discus with a winning throw of 156-2 at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Apr. 18, qualifying for the NCAA regionals in the event...also finished third in the hammer throw with a toss of 166-4 and fourth in the shot put, reaching the mark of 44-11...qualified for the ECAC Championships in all three events.

Siebenaller placed fourth in the pole vault and bettered her own school-record with a season-best mark of 12-7 ½ on Apr. 25 at the Stan Lyons Invitational...the mark qualifies as an NCAA regional height.
