Atlantic 10 Announces Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference team was announced on Wednesday, with this year’s team highlighted by returning honorees Alexander Merkulov of Massachusetts and St. Bonaventure’s Mike Murphy on the men’s side, and Duquesne’s Caitlin Zajko and Richmond’s Mina Vucic on the women’s side. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.

In addition to Merkulov and Murphy, the Men’s Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference team is made up of Fordham’s Devon Morris, George Washington’s Phillip Graeter and Spencer Neff, La Salle’s Blase Szyszko, Massachusetts’ Christopher Inglis and Troy Nichols, St. Bonaventure’s Yi Liu and Xavier’s Michael Zennedjian.

Joining Duquesne’s Caitlin Zajko and Richmond’s Mina Vucic on the Women’s Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference team are Fordham’s Brienne Ryan, George Washington’s Caroline Myers, Massachusetts’ Molly Elkins, Rhode Island’s Katie Mangano, Richmond’s Lauren Hines and Mali Kobelja, St. Bonaventure’s McKenzie Courtney, Saint Louis’ Taylor Streid and Xavier’s Courtney Shields.
