La Salle Selected As Preseason Cross Country Favorite

8/17/2010 - After finishing fourth last year, La Salle has been chosen to win the 2010 A-10 Men's Cross Country Championship in voting conducted among the league's head coaches. Massachusetts, last year's runner-up, is chosen to once again finish in second place.

Roeth was the top rookie finisher - 25th overall - on Oct. 31 at the 2009 A-10 Cross Country Championships...posted a time of 27:38.3... UD placed third in the 14-team field.

Women's Cross Country Most Outstanding Performer
Megan Hogan - George Washington
Senior, Ballston Spa, N.Y./Saratoga Central Catholic HS
Hogan became the first-ever GW runner to seize the A-10 Cross Country individual title as she registered a winning time of 18:37.8 on Oct. 31 at the 2009 A-10 Cross Country Championships...finished more than 50 seconds ahead of the next competitor...GW placed eighth out of 14 teams.

Courtney Baldwin - Massachusetts

Baldwin was the top rookie finisher (ninth overall) with a time of 20:09.6...named to the All-Conference team for her efforts...led UMass to a third-place finish in the 14-team field.
