Five Atlantic 10 Student-Athletes Earned 2012 Division I All-Academic Cross Country Status
Feb. 26, 2013 NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- The USTFCCCA announced the 2012 Division I All-Academic Cross Country performers, including five Atlantic 10 student-athletes. Honored in the group were three La Salle standouts including Stephanie Bearish, Wendy Hutchinson, and Meghan McGlinchey. Also recognized were Katie Clark of Butler and Jill Prentice of Richmond. A total of 115 student-athletes represent the 69 institutions that compose the group. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have either earned USTFCCCA All-America status or finished in the NCAA region’s top 15 (or top 10 percent) in 2012.
